Position: First (1st) Shift Packaging Operator I (Line Lead)

Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday-Friday (Hours may vary during peak)

Pay: $18.55 per hour

The core responsibilities of this role include:

• Supply Chain, Auditing, Product Compliance, Shipping, Logistics, Lead

In addition, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

• Coordinating tasks within a production line, including item organization, product production, replenishment, and quality control
• Experience with a commercial WMS (Warehouse Management System) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP, etc.
• Technical computer skills
• This is a hands-on role, primarily on the warehouse floor, involving standing and walking for extended periods
• Lifting up to 40 lbs

Role Purpose:

Efficiently operate packaging lines according to established procedures and customer specifications, ensuring quality standards are met.

Oversee activities of associates in specific packing areas/products.

Key Accountabilities:

• Package products per customer specifications into bags, boxes, or totes
• Document quality checks and record in the system
• Understand and communicate product specifications and packaging requirements
• Assist in training new and backup associates
• Pull samples and test product, labeling, and weight against specifications
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality guidelines
• Perform all duties of Packaging Operator II
• Maintain cleanliness around packaging equipment and in the warehouse
• Responsible for lockout/tagout procedures during maintenance or jams
• Make basic adjustments to equipment to ensure product quality

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
