Job summary

KDC in New Albany, Indiana is seeking a Packaging Operator to join a fast-paced production team. The role focuses on packaging finished products to customer specifications and quality standards.

Shifts are available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with competitive pay between $14.75 and $16.75 per hour. Training is provided if you have no prior manufacturing experience.

You’ll work in a safe, climate-controlled facility and gain opportunities for overtime, growth, and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience? Great! If not, we’ll train you.
• Ability to follow work instructions, and maintain a positive, team-focused attitude.
• Comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs. and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of FDA, GMP and OSHA safety requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Building and assembling containers, closures, and carton systems with precision.
• Packing finished products according to customer specifications and quality standards.
• Preparing pallets for shipment using electric pallet jacks and shrink-wrap machines.
• Check quality to guarantee every product meets our high standards.
• Maintaining safety and cleanliness in a climate-controlled production environment.
• Collaborating and training—work as part of a supportive team and help others grow.
