Job summary

ALPLA Dayton Plant in Vandalia, OH is hiring a Manufacturing Operator to run and maintain packaging lines, load materials, and perform quality checks. You will work with carton erectors, inserters, sealers, palletizing and wrapping equipment to ensure accurate labeling and efficient production.

Required high school diploma and at least 6 months of manufacturing experience; ability to lift 55 lbs and stand for up to 12 hours; commitment to cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months manufacturing experience preferred.
• Capable of lifting 55 pounds and standing for up to 12 hours.
• Able to work with multiple types of packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot packaging equipment (carton erectors, partition inserters, top sealers, palletizing and wrapping).
• Load, build, and assemble cartons; hand-pack bottles; load labels and packaging materials.
• Perform routine cleaning, preventive maintenance, and autonomous maintenance tasks.
• Document finished goods, packaging specs, and visual quality checks; perform line changeovers and ensure proper labeling.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
