Job summary

ALPLA, a global leader in sustainable packaging solutions, is hiring in Utah for packaging operators. You will operate, maintain and troubleshoot packaging equipment, perform loading, labeling and quality checks, and ensure housekeeping and autonomous maintenance to keep lines running efficiently.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 6 months of manufacturing experience, and the ability to lift up to 55 pounds and stand for long shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Min. 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Capable of lifting 55 pounds and to stand for a minimum of 12 hours.
• Able to work with multiple types of packaging equipment simultaneously.
• High cleanliness standards for the machines and work area.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot multiple types of packaging equipment.
• Manual responsibilities include loading, building and making boxes; hand packaging of bottles; loading labels.
• Maintenance includes routine cleaning and minor maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
• Material handling: loading/unloading packaging materials.
• Documentation: accurately record finished goods, packaging specifications, visual quality checks; perform changeovers; apply labels; perform quality checks; housekeeping; autonomous maintenance.
