Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is assisting a food manufacturing client in Indianapolis, IN to recruit a Packaging Operator. In this role you will support day-to-day packaging operations, follow correct packaging procedures, and help move finished products through the line.

You will operate Bag-In-Box, Bottle Filler, and Bulk Line equipment, set up changeovers, print labels, verify CCPs, and ensure GMP and Food Safety compliance while delivering accurate packaging and timely product delivery.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to obtain forklift operator certification.
• Good organizational skills with time management and multi-tasking.
• Knowledge of packaging systems and safe operation of filling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow correct packaging procedures to ensure accurate and consistent packaging.
• Operate Bag-In-Box, Bottle Filler, and Bulk Line packaging equipment.
• Set up equipment and perform changeovers to switch formats as needed.
• Print and verify finished product labels and assemble master cases.
• Check CCPs and maintain GMP and Food Safety compliance.
