Barilla Group is seeking Packaging Operators in Ames, IA for day and night shifts. You will load packaging materials, run packaging lines, perform quality checks, and make machine adjustments to ensure product quality.

Eligible candidates have prior production/food manufacturing experience, basic computer skills, and knowledge of GMP/HACCP practices. Excellent attention to detail is required; Barilla offers a comprehensive benefits package and a stable work schedule with weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience in production or food manufacturing and a general working knowledge of computers is required.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and GMPs is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and supporting programs (e.g., cleaning, sanitation, pest management) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load packaging materials on the packaging machines and perform quality checks.
• Make mechanical adjustments as needed on packaging equipment.
