Job summary

Barilla Group is seeking Packaging Operators in Ames, IA for day and night shifts. You will load packaging materials, run packaging lines, perform quality checks, and make machine adjustments to ensure product quality.

Eligible candidates have prior production/food manufacturing experience, basic computer skills, and knowledge of GMP/HACCP practices. Excellent attention to detail is required; Barilla offers a comprehensive benefits package and a stable work schedule with weekend rotation.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and GMPs is preferred.

Packaging Operators during their shift are primarily responsible for loading packaging materials on the packaging machines, performing quality checks, and making mechanical adjustments as needed.

$24.84 for Day Shift

$27.32 (includes 10% shift differential) for the night shift.

Packaging Operators work only half the days in a month, as they work a flexible (2-2-3) shift pattern. Applicants must be available to work every other weekend as part of their regular schedule.

Education and Experience:
