Job summary

Athletic Brewing is seeking a Packaging Operator I in Milford, CT to package products into cans or kegs and support a fast-paced production line. You will operate packaging stations, handle date codes, and ensure accurate pallet tagging while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Training on forklift operation and NetSuite is provided. Ideal candidates have basic computer skills (Word, Excel) and a strong eye for detail, with the ability to follow SOPs and GMP guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience preferred and willingness to learn.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word/Excel) and email.
• Attention to detail, good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow SOPs and GMP/OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Package product into cans or kegs following SOPs; adjust production as needed.
• Operate and monitor packaging line stations; start/stop machines; change date codes; place trays; package into machinery.
• Shadow Operator and learn basic forklift operations.
• Communicate status of packaging with management and teammates; submit pallet tags.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and GMPs.
• Navigate NetSuite to build pallets and print pallet tags; update daily logs (CIPs, Cleaning, Downtime).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Hourly rate $23/hr .
