Job summary

Amcor Limited is seeking a production packer to prepare boxes for packers, operate box machines, and move packed materials to the staging area. The role includes inspecting bottles, labeling and verifying boxes, and relieving others for breaks.

The position requires basic math, English literacy, punctuality, and readiness to begin work immediately. Prior packing experience may be beneficial.

Qualifications

• Remember packing sequence and pack patterns.
• Meet deadlines and complete work orders.
• Must be able to read and understand packing labels.
• Must be punctual and ready to begin packing immediately.
• May, at company’s discretion, need to have experience as a Packer.

Responsibilities

• Prepare boxes and transfer packed materials to staging area.
• Operate box machines, tape and glue as needed.
• Inspect bottles during shift and record findings.
• Label and verify packed boxes.
• Relieve Packers for breaks and meals.
• Perform machine repacks before end of shift.
• Report safety issues to Supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
