Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company in Auburndale, FL is hiring a Packaging Operator to run and maintain automated packaging lines, support changeovers, and ensure product quality and safe operations. You will set up and monitor case packers and palletizers, perform changeovers, conduct inspections, and document production data while collaborating with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.

This role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years of manufacturing experience, and forklift

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2+ years in manufacturing or food production.
• Experience with automated packaging equipment and mechanical/control systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• English literacy for safety guidelines and instructions.
• Forklift certification.
• Willing to work 8-hour shifts, overtime and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Execute packaging operations according to standards to maintain line performance.
• Set up, operate, and monitor automated packaging equipment.
• Perform timely changeovers for different package sizes and specs.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure product integrity and labeling compliance.
• Complete package integrity testing and address defects escalated as needed.
• Support forklift drivers with pallet handling and material flow tasks.
• Record production data and update systems during operations and changeovers.
• Identify equipment anomalies and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
• Clean and sanitize lines and work areas per safety protocols.
