Job summary

ProFarm is seeking a Packaging Operator in Michigan to ensure products are packaged in appropriately sized containers. You will also complete pre/post packaging work as needed and support overall packaging operations.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, ability to work in varying temperatures, and compliance with safety protocols. A current driver's license and 1–2 years of production experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Driver's License.
• 1-2 years production or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report all safety and quality issues to Supervisor/Management.
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specifications are met.
• Validate the calibration and accuracy of packaging systems
• Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools.
• Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, containers, and orders, using hand tools.
• Transfer product or material into containers, using hand tools and equipment, or fill containers from spouts or chutes.
• Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
• Ensure the Measuring, weight, and count products and materials is accurate.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Other job duties as assigned.
