C.H. Guenther & Son in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a reliable packaging associate to set up and operate all packaging equipment, ensure product quality, and perform packaging, sanitation, and shipping tasks, including forklift duties.

This is a 2nd shift union position offering $22.08 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential. Responsibilities include monitoring the line for maintenance, reporting issues, ensuring GMPs and safety rules, setting up packers, changing film and ribbons, and pulling

Formación

• High School graduate or equivalent; able to do basic math and have verbal and written skills.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate all packaging equipment and ensure product quality.
• Perform packaging, sanitation, and shipping functions including forklift duties.
• Monitor packaging line for maintenance, sanitation, and packaging needs; adjust as necessary.
• Report mechanical problems to maintenance; recognize and report non-conforming product.
• Set up packers for all products; change packaging film, bands, and ribbons.
• Pull broken trays or foreign matter; run tray washer as needed.
• Adhere to GMPs, safety, food safety, HACCP, SQF; follow company code of conduct.
