Job summary

BD, a global leader in medical technology, seeks a production aide at our Hunt Valley, MD site. The role focuses on packaging, filling, labeling, and inspection under GMP guidelines in a fast-paced, on-site manufacturing environment.

You will document processes, operate equipment, and ensure quality records. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, standard safety training, and willingness to work a 2nd shift (4pm–2am, Mon–Thu).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Package materials per SMP/SOP including setup and cleanup.
• Fill, assemble, label, and inspect products under supervision.
• Maintain accuracy in weighing materials within tolerances.
• Communicate status of product between shifts, orally or in writing.
• Move materials from storage to workspace using material handling equipment.
• Set up, operate and clean production equipment (weighing scales, fill lines, bagging, shrink-wrap).
• Maintain production records (logs, batch history, labels, work orders).
• Identify need for minor equipment repairs.
• Follow GMP procedures and BD safety/housekeeping policies.
• Work overtime as required to meet BD business needs.
