Job summary

Perfetti Van Melle is seeking passionate Production Operators to join our Cincinnati area manufacturing team. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with a 12-hour continental rotating schedule that offers work half the year.

The role covers start-up/shut-down, debugging, sanitation, and packaging operations, with responsibilities including quality checks, weight control, data entry, and safe operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Manufacturing/warehouse/distribution experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals; write routine reports.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem analysis skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds; push/pull 350-pound carts.

Responsibilities

• Operate the packaging equipment safely and monitor product flow from start-up to palletizing.
• Ensure package integrity and quality checks including weight, seals, codes and counts.
• Perform data entry into the computer during shift operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and participate in weekly sanitation processes.
• Adhere to GMP policies and notify maintenance or supervisor when line is down.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
