Job summary

Perfetti Van Melle, USA, is seeking a Production Operator to support the packaging process. This role starts at $20.00/hour with a 12-hour continental rotating schedule in Northern Kentucky.

You will operate packaging equipment, ensure product quality, and perform line cleanliness and safety tasks. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, is able to pass background checks, and has prior manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Manufacturing/warehouse/distribution experience required.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Able to perform basic math operations and handle measurements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging equipment to maintain product flow.
• Check package integrity, weights, seals, and counts.
• Troubleshoot equipment to ensure continuous operation.
• Enter data into the computer.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow GMP.
• Notify maintenance or supervisor when line needs attention.
• Adhere to safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Participate in sanitation and shift hand-offs.
