Job summary

King & Prince Seafood Corporation is seeking a Packaging Operator to join the production team in Brunswick, GA. You will work on the packaging line, set up and operate equipment, and help ensure product quality and safety through adherence to SOPs, GMPs, and HACCP guidelines.

The role emphasizes precision, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lift and maneuver materials, with progressive training levels to advance skills within a food-manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating production line equipment and understanding line setup.
• Knowledge of production equipment and its operation.
• Demonstrates precision, accuracy and alertness in manufacturing tasks.
• Familiarity with SOPs, GMPs, and HACCP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, set up, and disassemble production line equipment.
• Monitor equipment operation and product quality throughout runs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure uptime and safety.
• Adhere to safety, quality, SOP, HACCP, and GMP standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Shows capacity to assemble, set up, and disassemble production line equipment
• Has knowledge of production equipment and operation
• Maintains production equipment before, during, and after operation
• Continuously monitors operation of equipment and quality of the product
• Complies with company safety, quality, SOP, HACCP and GMP guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Available to work a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 4:30pm-2:30am, overtime as required
• Mechanical and/or machine operator experience required
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Able to repetitively lift 50 pounds
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools
• Computer skills such as file management & data entry
• Demonstrates a high level of precision, accuracy and alertness
• Good decision making skills
• Ability to use a pallet jack and/or dolly
