Job summary

King & Prince Seafood Corp in Brunswick, GA seeks an experienced Packaging Operator to safeguard safety, quality and compliance with SOPs, GMPs and HACCP while progressing through training levels. You will support line setups and monitor equipment to ensure consistent product quality.

Responsibilities include assembling and maintaining line equipment, lifting up to 50 pounds, and adhering to all safety and quality guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools required.
• Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Computer skills including basic data entry and file management.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, set up, and disassemble production line equipment.
• Monitor operation and ensure product quality.
• Adhere to safety, SOP, HACCP and GMP guidelines.
• Perform duties as assigned on the production line.
• Operate necessary tools and assist with line changes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Shows capacity to assemble, set up, and disassemble production line equipment
• Has knowledge of production equipment and operation
• Maintains production equipment before, during, and after operation
• Continuously monitors operation of equipment and quality of the product
• Complies with company safety, quality, SOP, HACCP and GMP guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Available to work a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 4:30pm-2:30am, overtime as required
• Mechanical and/or machine operator experience required
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Able to repetitively lift 50 pounds
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools
• Computer skills such as file management & data entry
• Demonstrates a high level of precision, accuracy and alertness
• Good decision making skills
• Ability to use a pallet jack and/or dolly
