Job description

PET Dairy has an immediate job opening for a well-versed machine operator to perform a variety of functions including maintaining, breaking down, and setting up equipment and machinery, troubleshooting, and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. Machine operators will be responsible for processing finished or raw materials, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), communicating effectively with all departments, and meeting daily deadlines.

Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2 pm until finish, with possible Saturdays

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measurement using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background, and criminal checks
• Ability to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in wet conditions
• Exposure to dust, fumes, and cleaning chemicals may occur
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays
