Job Summary

We are hiring a Packaging Operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Sparks, GA. This role supports manufacturing and packaging operations for agricultural chemical products in a structured, safety-focused production environment.

The Packaging Operator will assist with batching, labeling, capping, boxing, stacking, and material handling while helping maintain quality, productivity, and cleanliness standards. Key Responsibilities

• Support formulation and packaging operations, including batching, labeling, pulling, capping, boxing, wiping, and stacking.
• Handle boxes, jugs, packaging supplies, and production materials safely and efficiently.
• Perform regular lifting, staging, and movement of materials throughout the work area.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant production environment.
• Follow all site safety, security, conduct, quality, and environmental protection policies.
• Meet established productivity and quality standards while following supervisor and operator instructions.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $17 per hour.
• Job type: Temp-to-hire.
• Schedule: Rotating 2-2-3 schedule.
• Day shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Employees work 2 consecutive days, followed by 2 days off, then 3 consecutive workdays, followed by 2 days off.
• Schedule includes weekends and repeats on a biweekly rotation.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Support daily packaging and production activities for agricultural chemical products.
• Assist with labeling, capping, boxing, stacking, and material handling tasks.
• Maintain quality, cleanliness, and safety standards throughout the shift.
• Follow production instructions, safety procedures, and supervisor direction.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 to 2 years of hands-on work experience in packaging, manufacturing, production, warehouse, or related environments preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Basic math skills and ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to climb stairs periodically throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a high-noise manufacturing environment.
• Ability and willingness to operate a forklift.
• Must be able to wear a respirator and pass the required medical clearance.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Must be willing to work rotating 10 to 12-hour shifts, including weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, packaging, warehouse, or shipping and receiving experience.
• Forklift experience in a warehouse or production setting.
• Experience working in a safety-sensitive or regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong attendance, reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail.
