Job summary

AMETEK Coining, a part of AMETEK Specialty Metal Products, seeks a Packaging Operator in Montvale, NJ to inspect, weigh, and package metal preforms and stampings. You will ensure parts meet customer requirements, input data into the ERP system, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

The role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. This position offers a stable manufacturing environment with competitive compensation, benefits, and growth

Qualifications

• Safety conscious with excellent verbal and written communication skills and good mathematical aptitude.
• Ability to grasp and handle products ranging from extremely small to large.
• Basic computer skills required. Must be able to make computer transactions into the ERP system.
• Must be able to perform duties without external distractions, such as mobile phones and personal electronic devices.
• Ability to use a microscope, magnifying lens, tweezers, and other hand tools as assigned.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and anything heavier with assistance or hand tools.
• High School Diploma or GED.

• Inspect, weigh and package extremely small thin parts.
• Perform visual inspections on parts prior to packing.
• Reject nonconforming parts following established procedures.
• Perform screening as required.
• Package products according to customer requirements as shown on the picklist and apply labels as instructed to packages.
