Job summary

AMETEK Coining, part of AMETEK Specialty Metal Products, is seeking a Packaging Operator to inspect and package metal preforms and stampings into containers according to customer requirements.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts, inputting data into the ERP system, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to safety guidelines. This hourly role supports a global leader in precise metal solutions and offers stable schedules and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be safety-conscious with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to grasp and handle products ranging from extremely small to larger sizes.
• Basic computer skills and ability to input data into ERP.
• Must be able to work without external distractions (cell phones, personal devices).
• Ability to use a microscope and hand tools as assigned.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, with assistance for heavier items.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, weigh and package extremely small parts.
• Perform visual inspections prior to packing.
• Reject nonconforming parts following procedures.
• Package products per customer requirements and apply labels.
• Accurately input data into the ERP system.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE in manufacturing area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor/management.
