Job Title: Packaging Operator
Location: Cleveland, OH
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19/hr

About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to join our manufacturing team. This individual will be responsible for various production tasks, including receiving materials, packaging finished goods, and ensuring compliance with safety and documentation standards. Ideal candidates are hands-on, safety-conscious, and comfortable working with chemicals and manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receive and inspect incoming materials; label and store properly
2. Manually portion chemicals (e.g., amino acids) according to SOPs and batch records
3. Operate electric pallet jacks and walk-behind tow motors to move materials
4. Package, label, and palletize finished goods for shipment
5. Perform quality checks and sample products for QC testing
6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment
7. Accurately complete batch records and logbooks following GDP/ALCOA principles
8. Conduct material identification testing and generate reports
9. Perform SAP transactions and support inventory control
10. Follow PPE policies, including respirator use, maintaining a clean-shaven face, and keeping nails trimmed

Required Qualifications:

• Prior warehouse, packaging, or production experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
• Comfortable using power tools and material handling equipment
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Proficient with computer systems and documentation practices
• Willing to wear a full-face respirator (training provided)
• Must be clean-shaven and keep nails trimmed per policy

Preferred Experience:

• Chemical handling or experience in a GMP-regulated environment
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems
• Past quality control or team lead roles
