Job summary

WestRock Company in Sioux Falls seeks a Production Manager to oversee daily operations in the Converting department. This role involves ensuring safety policies, production efficiency, and managing team development while meeting customer requirements.

You will lead the management team, drive process improvements, and handle P&L responsibilities. Candidates should bring 7+ years of leadership experience in packaging operations, strong mechanical skills, and a proven record in process management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university or 7 years of related experience.
• 7+ years of leadership experience in corrugated and converting packaging operations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality processes and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for coordination of plant activities.
• Review customer requirements to identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage P&L and manufacturing costs to improve profitability.

Skills

Leadership experience in packaging operations

Mechanical acumen

Experience with scheduling software

JIT manufacturing environment

Process management expertise

Communication skills

Knowledge of capital management

Six Sigma certification

Education
