Job summary

Tropicana Brands Group is seeking a Packaging Mechanic to support the UFO Maintenance team in Bradenton, FL. The role focuses on quality checks for packaging, coding, and materials, and performing Center‑lining, cleaning and lubrication to keep equipment running at peak performance.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of mechanical experience, strong reading of technical manuals, and the ability to train others.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical experience with documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Willing to be skill tested and certified.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain packaging equipment to meet production schedules
• Ensure quality standards are met
• Perform quality checks to ensure proper packaging, coding, products and other materials are correctly used in the production run
• Perform Center‑lining, cleaning, Inspect and Lubricate (CIL) to ensure that all equipment is running at peak performance and to quality standards
• Perform and track rapid changeover to ensure that the next product is started on time and is correct
• Troubleshoot complete system, including equipment and components
• Train others and support downtime issues
• Work overtime including weekends and long days
