Job summary

Jost Chemical Co Inc is seeking a Material Handler to join our Packaging Department in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. The role supports packaging operations by inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering materials, equipment, and supplies used in in-process chemical manufacturing.

The 2nd shift (2:30pm - 11:00pm) requires lifting, forklift operation, and strong attention to safety and recordkeeping; prior GMP experience is preferred, and high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a GMP environment preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and move materials safely.
• Strong attention to detail and good recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Keep packaging rooms stocked with in-process and finished goods.
• Load/unload materials and operate forklifts and hand trucks as needed.
• Maintain organization and alert leadership when stock is low.
• Assist with packaging setup and cleaning duties.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and packaging records are accurate.
