Job summary

Jost Chemical Company is seeking a Material Handler to join our Packaging Department on 2nd shift in a GMP-regulated manufacturing setting. You will inspect, store, issue, and deliver materials used in in-process chemical production under supervision of the Packaging Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of relevant experience in packaging operations, with strong attention to detail and safety compliance. Weekend/overtime availability is required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
3+ years of relevant experience; GMP/manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure packaging rooms are supplied and stocked for in-process manufacturing.
Move and store in-process and finished goods.
Maintain organization of packaging supplies and alert leaders when stock is low.
Assist with packaging room setup and cleaning duties as needed.
Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move materials.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
Backup to Materials Handler for dock loading/unloading as needed.
