Job summary

The Packaging Manager at We Pack Logistics will be hands-on and self-motivated, leading the contract packaging and repack function while prioritizing safety, quality, continuous improvement, and labor cost management. This role oversees the packaging operation's financial and operational performance at the Maxton, NC site.

Starting pay rate is $90,000–$110,000 based on experience and education. Primary schedule is Monday–Friday, with occasional extended hours required to meet demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years related experience.
• Strong communicator written and orally.
• Strong leadership skills who can engage with all team members positively.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily packaging work at locations of responsibility to ensure the highest level of customer service.
• Ensure the packaging function executes work efficiently and profitably while partnering closely to meet all customer needs.
• Oversee the planning function and personnel for the packaging operation.
• Support Production Supervisor by coordinating staffing with internal and external partners to meet timelines and financial targets.
• Collaborate with warehousing to guarantee a seamless, single service for the customer.
