Job summary

Carl Buddig and Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the Packaging Department. You will read electrical schematics, work with PLC ladder logic, and repair packaging equipment, motors, and related systems to ensure safe, high-quality production.

The role requires 4+ years in mechanical/electrical trades, a High School diploma or GED, and willingness to work overtime in a fast-paced plant environment. Competitive hourly pay with full benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Understanding PLC ladder logic and industrial electrical systems.
• Preference for High School Diploma or GED and vocational training.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Understand PLC ladder logic and industrial electrical systems.
• Install, service, and repair motors, heaters, coolers, and related equipment.
• Move machinery using hand trucks, forklifts, or dollies.
• Replace fuses, breakers, switches, and related electrical components.
• Maintain records and prepare reports on equipment and materials.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems to component level.
