Job summary

Pretium Packaging in the United States is seeking a production technician to start up, adjust and operate packaging lines, ensuring efficient operation with minimal disruption. Qualifications

Requires high school education or equivalent with mechanical training/aptitude.
Minimum 1–3 years experience operating packaging/plastics machinery to perform duties.

Responsibilities

Start up production machines and verify accurate set points.
Operate extrusion blow mold, extrusion machine, injection mold and related equipment.
Perform routine maintenance, clean filters and monitor performance.
Inspect quality and line output for conformity to specifications.
Document problems, causes and solutions and notify supervision as needed.
Restart machines after maintenance and assist with training of other Technician Operators.
