Job summary

Amneal Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Packaging Mechanic II to ensure continuous operation of packaging lines in the Packaging and Manufacturing departments. The role involves setup, routine maintenance, minor electrical troubleshooting, and collaboration with Engineering to install new packaging lines.

Night Shift – 12-hour rotating schedule (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) with alternating weekend shifts required. Total rewards include a competitive benefits package and 401(k) matching contribution.

Qualifications

• Experience with packaging equipment and related manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair packaging line systems.
• Experience maintaining equipment and following preventive maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair all packaging line systems and equipment.
• Repair packaging equipment including parts replacement.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure proper function of packaging equipment.
• Document work in equipment logbooks and communicate during shift handoffs.
• Train team members on equipment issues to prevent recurrence.
