Job summary

GetHired, Inc. is seeking a hands-on technician to perform final steps in assembling packaging machinery and to ensure units function correctly before shipment to customers' plants.

Responsibilities include installing tooling and changing parts, running and debugging machines, interpreting CAD drawings, troubleshooting PLCs, servos and pneumatics, conducting factory acceptance tests, and coordinating with engineering to improve reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience with machinery and a strong technical background is required.
• Clear communication with customers about mechanical and electrical components.

Responsibilities

• Install tooling and change parts.
• Run and debug packaging machines before shipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues.
• Assemble mechanical and electrical components on machinery.
• Interpret CAD drawings.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve product design for reliability and serviceability.
• Participate in product design reviews to improve customer experience.
• Perform quality control testing on machinery.
• Implement on-floor design changes and inform engineering.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests with customers.
