Job summary

BW Packaging is seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembly Technician to build, assemble, and test packaging machinery, conveyors, and subassemblies. You will work with SolidWorks 3D models, 2D drawings, and detailed work instructions to ensure builds meet high-quality standards.

Role requires mechanical skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with Engineering and Operations. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and work overtime as needed in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience in packaging/automation environments.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and assembly sequences.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble packaging machinery and sub-assemblies from drawings and models.
• Interpret drawings, tolerances, and assembly sequences for builds.
• Support engineering with issue resolution and documentation of build changes.
