Utz Quality Foods is seeking Packaging Machine Operators for the Weekend Night Shift. You will join a 3-day workweek on Friday to Sunday, 6PM to 6AM, with responsibilities including setting up lines, performing start-of-shift checks, monitoring quality, and assisting maintenance.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to read English instructions and communicate with operators and maintenance.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to obtain forklift license (training provided).
• Basic computer skills for simple data entry.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate packaging lines safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine checks at shift start and throughout the day to ensure machines are running properly.
• Monitor packaging quality (weights, seals, codes, pricing).
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and support maintenance as needed.
• Keep accurate records of production, film usage, and quality checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Communicate with the next shift and support teamwork across lines.
• Train new operators as needed.
