Utz Quality Foods is expanding and seeking Packaging Machine Operators to join our Weekend Day Shift. This role covers Friday to Sunday 6AM-6PM, offering a steady 4-day workweek and opportunities to grow your career with a household-name company.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to read and understand English instructions and communicate with operators and maintenance personnel.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to obtain a forklift license (training provided).
• Knowledge of packaging machine equipment (preferred, but training available).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate packaging lines safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine checks at shift start and throughout the day to ensure machines are running properly.
• Monitor packaging quality (weights, seals, codes, pricing).
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and support maintenance as needed.
• Keep accurate records of production, film usage, and quality checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Communicate with the next shift and support teamwork across lines.
• Train new operators as needed.
