Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, a long-standing name in snacks, is hiring Packaging Machine Operators for the Weekend Day Shift, Friday to Sunday 6AM-6PM. You will set up lines, monitor quality, and keep records in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time role includes an on-site health clinic, a 24/7 fitness center, and growth programs designed to support your career. Training is provided for forklift and packaging equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to read and understand English instructions and communicate with operators and maintenance.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to obtain a forklift license (training provided).
• Knowledge of packaging machine equipment preferred; training available.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate packaging lines safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine checks at shift start and throughout the day to ensure machines are running properly.
• Monitor packaging quality (weights, seals, codes, pricing).
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and support maintenance as needed.
• Keep accurate records of production, film usage, and quality checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Communicate with the next shift and support teamwork across lines.
• Train new operators as needed.
