Job summary

Utz Brands, Inc. is seeking dependable Packaging Machine Operators for the Weekend Night Shift. You will set up and operate packaging lines, perform start-of-shift checks, monitor quality, and keep records. A collaborative team environment with opportunities for growth and consistent three-day weekends.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, basic reading/writing and math, and the ability to follow English instructions. Forklift training is provided on site.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate packaging lines safely and efficiently.

• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and assist maintenance.
• Maintain clean, safe and organized work area.
• Train new operators as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate packaging lines safely and efficiently
• Perform routine checks at shift start and throughout the day to ensure machines are running properly
• Monitor packaging quality (weights, seals, codes, pricing)
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and support maintenance as needed
• Keep accurate records of production, film usage, and quality checks
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Communicate with the next shift and support teamwork across lines
• Train new operators as needed

Requirements

• Ability to for Friday-Sunday 6:00PM-6:00AM
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Ability to read and understand English instructions and communicate effectively with operators and maintenance personnel
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to obtain a forklift license (training provided)
• Basic computer skills for simple data entry
• Knowledge of packaging machine equipment (preferred, but training available)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
