Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand workplace language(s).
• Bilingual in Spanish or French a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude to operate hand tools and instruments.
• Two years of experience in a similar role preferred.
• Good communication skills required.
• Must follow safety and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Attend on-the-job training and obtain trainer sign-off.
• Assemble equipment needed to run products.
• Monitor operations for defects and malfunctions.
• Test and verify product weight/measurement to ensure quality.
• Follow Packaging Process Specifications (PPS).
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with rules.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks as directed.
• Wear safety shoes and PPE at all times.
