Qualifications

• 0–2 years of Operator experience.
• Average math skills and ability to perform tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret company documents.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels.
• Mechanical or machine operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate primary packaging equipment including forming, sealing, weighing, and discharge systems.
• Verify recipe selection and adjust scales to target weights.
• Maintain approved centerline settings and restore after downtime or changeovers.
• Follow manufacturing instructions (MI) and perform quality checks.
• Create finished goods lot codes daily.
• Perform autonomous maintenance per line form and frequency.
• Conduct startup and shutdown procedures safely per SOP.
• Troubleshoot issues such as film tracking and seal defects.
• Escalate issues and participate in communications.
• Maintain equipment to ensure efficient running.
• Report machine deficiencies to Maintenance as needed.
• Supply materials to line workers and maintain 5S standards.
• Assign duties to line staff and enforce safety rules.
• Attend meetings as required and perform other duties.
