The role requires reading production schedules, performing calibrations, and coordinating with maintenance for routine repairs. Overtime may be required in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• One year of production experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging machinery safely and efficiently.
• Maintain shift documentation including metal detector and batch verifications.
• Read and interpret production schedules using MicroStrategy.
• Perform nitrogen testing and monitor codes, dates, and prices.
• Plan and execute efficient machine changeovers and adjust packaging lines.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibrations on equipment.
• Ensure quality by weighing, inspecting, and addressing issues.
• Report maintenance needs promptly to supervisors or technicians.
