Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of experience in food manufacturing.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently to meet production and waste goals.
• Complete documents and report malfunctions to supervisor and maintenance.
• Interpret work orders to ensure proper materials and specifications are followed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic-to-moderate operation difficulties.
• Complete change-over sheet and coordinate packaging line materials as needed.
• Program packaging machine using manufacturing specifications.
• Adjust packaging equipment for correct case size and output.
• Inspect and label finished packages; manage packaging flow.
• Record downtime and submit maintenance requests when required.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE; keep area clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
