Job summary

Lee Kum Kee USA is seeking a production operator to work within the processing and packaging teams to operate equipment according to product standards.

Responsibilities include setup, operation, record-keeping, inspection and packing, and ensuring a clean, safe work area. The role requires basic English, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to learn and troubleshoot routine machine issues in a fast-paced facility in City of Industry, CA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and write in English; follow instructions and fill out records.

Responsibilities

• Set up, sanitize, operate, clean and maintain assigned machine.
• Record filling time, material usage and finished goods in filling report.
• Inspect and pack products for shipment.
• Prepare and transfer work-in-process materials.
• Cooperate with the team to fulfill the production schedule efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Learn the equipment and report mechanical issues to engineering.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned by supervisors.
