Job summary

Lamb Weston in Pasco, WA is seeking an Operator Packaging Machine to support daily production. You will package finished product under the direction of the Packaging Technician and Leads, ensuring quality and accuracy in a fast-paced food production environment.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and following safety rules and GMPs. Experience in manufacturing helps; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; or up to three months related experience.
• Basic math skills and ability to use numbers.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Package finished product under direction of production lead, packaging technician or team leader.
• Hook up, fill, and label supersacks to standard on pallets passing through sizing curtain.
• Coordinate with other Packers to ensure efficient packaging process.
• Perform sanitation duties to maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Follow safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Report accidents or unsafe conditions to Team Leader.
• Maintain logs as required.
• Safely operate heavy material handling equipment such as fillers or electric pallet jacks.
• Load slip sheets into packaging equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
