Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a Packaging Machine Operator 1 (Day Shift) in Pasco, WA. The role focuses on tending, maintaining, and adjusting packaging equipment to fill, wrap, seal, and label bags with finished product, ensuring safety, efficiency, and minimal waste.

Responsibilities include starting up and running the line, inspecting processes, recording data, and performing sanitation as needed. Requires 1+ years related experience and a GED or high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years related experience and/or training.
• Experience with Scale, Packaging, and bagger machines (Required).

Responsibilities

• Maintains startup and continuous operation of packaging equipment to meet daily goals.
• Operates and adjusts all packaging equipment from cold inspection to coders.
• Obtains daily work schedules and completes work orders per SOPs.
• Ensures packaging equipment functions per specifications.
• Prepares packaging machines before product runs and logs run data.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
• Performs sanitation and other duties as assigned.
