Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. seeks an Equipment Operator to join our 24/7 manufacturing facility in Frederick, MD. The role involves safe operation of case forming and related equipment, following SOPs, and ensuring accurate production records.

You will set up equipment, code validation, monitor quantities, and communicate any issues. This hands-on position requires strong math, technical aptitude, and reliable attendance as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience with SOPs and GMPs.
• Strong math and technical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment controls and touch panels.
• Reliable attendance and work history.
• Pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate case forming equipment.
• Set up, operate, and replenish fiber, fiber gluer and tape equipment.
• Follow SOPs in detail without deviation.
• Set up case coding equipment and validate product case codes.
• Verify and record accurate product case quantities.
• Identify and communicate out-of-spec conditions.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and GMPs.
• Perform equipment change-overs and cleanup tasks.
• Complete production records accurately.
• Cross-train with other departments.
