Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking a machine operator to operate, maintain and troubleshoot production line equipment at our Atlanta-Main facility. This facility uses automated packaging equipment to manufacture Home Care and Laundry products.

You will ensure production lines operate with minimal downtime while following safety practices. Starting hourly rate is $24.63 with potential shift differential for overnight hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some mechanical coursework preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years as a machine operator in manufacturing; 3+ years preferred.
• Resume required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and call out minor repairs to mechanical issues.
• Mechanical technical skills preferred.
• Knowledge of packaging equipment, SOPs, GMPs, 5S, and WCM.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and ensure proper setup and maintenance.
• Perform changeovers following procedures.
• Repair equipment malfunctions using mechanical knowledge.
• Identify and resolve quality problems with teams.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and order replacements as needed.
• Assist with improvement projects and equipment installations.
• Follow safety procedures and document maintenance per procedures.
• Attend training and stay updated on new equipment.
• Adhere to OSHA and Clorox safety standards.
• Collaborate with vendors and teams to ensure efficiency.
