Job summary

McKee Foods Corporation, a family bakery behind Little Debbie, invites you to join a packaging machine operator team in Stuarts Draft, VA. You will set up, adjust, and maintain packaging equipment for production runs and perform changeovers as needed.

This shift-based role offers 3rd shift, Sunday through Thursday from 10:20 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., onsite with competitive hourly pay and a $2 shift premium. Benefits include healthcare, PTO, and 401(k) with company contributions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and maintain packaging equipment for production run.
• Perform required changeovers for product, code or packaging.
• Enter OPM11i data timely and accurately.
• Troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments to packaging equipment.
• Disassemble/assemble and clean equipment for the shift or longer.
• Perform other duties including higher level jobs as needed.

Pay

$25.21 - $26.49 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Plus $2.00 / hour shift premium for 3rd Shift hours

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• Basic math skills
• Accurate measurement and conversion skillsAbility to perform moderate to heavy lifting

• Successfully complete PMO training and pass technical competencies

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous machine operator experience (plastic film or wrap)
• Excellent mechanical skills and/or previous technical training
• Set-up, changeover, and troubleshooting ability
