Job summary

Par Health in New York is seeking a Packaging Line Technician to serve as the technical expert on the packaging line, ensuring proper setup, cleaning, operation, and troubleshooting to maintain safe, compliant packaging prior to shipment.

You will tend machines and conveyors, assist maintenance with preventive tasks, support line changeovers, and document inspections while upholding safety, quality, and efficiency standards on the evening shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with basic arithmetic and literacy.
• 1–3 years of packaging line experience or related work.
• Ability to read product specs and perform basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot packaging lines to ensure safe, compliant packaging.
• Tend machines and conveyors; perform basic inspections and weight checks.
• Assist maintenance with preventive/machine repairs and changeovers.
• Document inspections and maintain equipment records per SOPs.
• Ensure line readiness from fill to palletizing, and uphold safety standards.
