Job summary

Richelieu Foods, Inc. is seeking a production operator to safely and efficiently run packaging line equipment while upholding company quality standards. You will work regular and overtime shifts and participate in line changeovers with minimal downtime.

You will be trained to operate multiple packaging machines and may lead changeovers. The role includes supporting training of new operators and adhering to GMP and hygiene requirements in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a team environment and have a positive attitude.
• Must have good written and oral communication skills.
• Experience working with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) preferred.
• Experience with quality and hygiene requirements common in food manufacturing preferred.
• Experience working in a production environment with food or other FDA regulated products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate assigned packaging line equipment to meet company quality standards.
• Work all regular and overtime scheduled shifts.
• Train to satisfactorily operate packaging line equipment and take the lead on changeovers.
• Minimize downtime and optimize line performance.
• Provide on-the-job training to new operator candidates and assist with development of peers.
• Attend company-sponsored training and informational meetings when scheduled.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
