Your Employment Solutions is hiring a Packaging Line Equipment Operator in Ogden. The role involves operating packaging line machinery and ensuring lines run smoothly under GMP and HACCP standards.

You will perform startup and downtime checks, manage supplies, and coordinate with maintenance as needed. The position requires experience with manufacturing equipment, ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 30 lbs, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in manufacturing or production environments.
• Stand for extended shifts and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Strong reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to learn multiple pieces of equipment and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate packaging line equipment including straw applicators, shrink wrappers, case sealers, palletizers, and bar and date coding machines.
• Inspect conveyors and equipment before each production run to confirm everything is functioning properly.
• Identify and clear equipment obstructions to keep the line running — coordinate with maintenance when a mechanic is needed.
• Keep straws, glue, and other line supplies stocked and ready throughout your shift.
• Manually load finished product trays onto pallets and prep stock for the palletizing process.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately, including start-up checklists, cleaning checklists, downtime sheets, and quality check sheets.
• Follow GMP, Food Safety, and HACCP standards to keep the production environment clean and compliant.
• Maintain your equipment and work area to sanitation standards at all times.
