Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. is seeking a packaging line operator for the 3rd shift (9:00pm–5:30am) to monitor the line, set up equipment, ensure product quality, and perform sanitation and shipping tasks.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math ability, and strong verbal/written communication. Forklift experience is preferred. This union position offers comprehensive benefits and E-Verify participation.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or its equivalency in experience and/or training.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Ability to do basic math and possession of verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor packaging line for maintenance, sanitation, packaging needs and/or deviations making adjustments as necessary.
• Report mechanical problems to maintenance.
• Set up packers for all products; change packaging film, colored bands, and thermal ribbons.
• Pull broken trays and/or foreign matter from line.
• Abide by GMPs, Personal Safety, Food Safety, HACCP, and SQF Rules.
